JAN 2008 Cathy and Gary are both busy taking courses in their off-season.
Cathy is taking several online courses dealing with Organic Livestock and Field Crop Production . She is also enrolled in home study courses in Applied Botany, Greenhouse production etc.
Last summer Cathy enjoyed being an Organic Inspector doing over 60 inspections. She anticipates doing more than that in 2008.

We enjoyed selling our organic produce at the Horton Street Farmer's market in St Thomas. Customers anxiously waited to see what new variety of zucchini,eggplant,tomato etc we would bring each week.
Gary finished installing his first solar thermal system (since our own installation).He has several other customers interested especially since the introduction of the ECO - ENERGY rebates from the governments
Jan 2008 In order to meet the demand for our organic chicken we decided to
invest in the purchase of more chicken quota. This is an expensive undertaking but we know that our customers will be more satisfied.
