All of our chickens are raised organically on our farm and processed at Everspring Poultry, a certified organic facility. Organic meat chickens will be available fresh 2 times per month (from May 2012 until Nov 2012). We offer vaccuum packed pieces as well as whole chickens. It order to serve you better it is best to phone or email an order. We will have it ready for you at your convenient pick up time.

2012 McSMITH'S CHICKEN DAYS

We are gathering dozens and dozens of eggs daily. The hens are feeling the spring coming. Gary has been kept busy making organic feed for the poultry. Gary is one of the very few farmers that actually has the knowledge to be able to formulate a proper feed ration. Most people simply purchase their Laying Ration from a Feed Mill.

We sell our organic eggs (all large & extra large) for $4.00/dz at the farm. We have an honour system for the eggs. 
People are always telling us that McSmith's eggs are the best tasting.
The bright yellow colour yolks are an indication that they are recieving high quality feed ingredients (all our own home grown organic grains).

We have a good selection of organic beef cuts such as lean ground beef, stewing beef roasts and steaks.

Pastured pork is a huge success in 2011.

The St Thomas Horton Farmers Market is open every Saturday from May to November 8 am - 12 noon.
